 Is that what the instructions said to do? Man that's more like winemaking than brewing beer. Try again with a better kit I'm sure you can get better results.

    2nd Krausen? the hell.....

Just a guess. You ma have given the yeast a bit of a stir and some extra oxygen that got them reactivated. I think I remember reading that adding oxygen after the initial fermentation was not necasseraily a good thing as yeast are aerobic and anaerobic. Sorry I can't help with the dry hop question.

PLEASE HELP! 36+ Hours after Pitching, No Activity...

I think trying to culture and grow enough yeast to pitch might take longer than you want to wait.

PLEASE HELP! 36+ Hours after Pitching, No Activity...

Since you already put all the work in to it and your looking at five days for delivery I would pitch one of the others you have on hand after making a big starter. $.02

Oxyclen Residue - how to remove?

Have you tried wrapping a rag aroung your carboy brush? You might also try going to the carwash and useing one of the high powered hoses unless you have a pressure washer at home. Yes I have done this I had a yeast cake that dried to the bottom of my carboy because I got called away to an emergency.

    Very strong beer problem

I still want to try the dry ice method in corny kegs but I'm a bit scared of that much pressure. I'll get the gear together for it one day and a report will follow.

    Binder Project

I'm a heathen I just have a spiral note book of past brews. On the upside I have been able to duplicate one beer three times with consistency I'm pretty happy with.
