Plate Chiller, Keggle, Sanke, Couplings - Omaha,Ne

Is that plate chiller work just as good as the Blichmann? Is it esentially the same or does the Blichmann work better? I almost bough a Blichmann but every time I see a 40 plate chiller like you are selling for $100 cheaper it makes me take pause.

would you guys recommend using green and clear bottles?

I have had skunked Heinekin in the past. I've Skunked Tripple Karmeleit as well both in green bottles. I use brown bottles but needless to say I've also had skunked beer occasionally out of brown bottles as well.

buying a grain mill - suggestions

After reading this thread I just pulled the trigger and got the MM3 1.5" Roller with base and hopper. $205.00 shipping included. I'm looking forward to it. The MM3-2 was $80.00 more. From what I have read I couldn't justify the expence. That money will go towards buying grain. Cheers...

    Wheatwine

generally i'd keep this beer in the primary for at least three weeks tp 4 weeks. then i'll brash cool it for a week or two the bring the temp back up to 65 df for dry hopping. dry hop for 1 week, 1o days max, then keg or bottle. this beer will get better with some time in the bottle.

    WLP 568 Attenuation Problem!

This beer needs to be mashed at like 144 DF for 120 mins then use simple sugars. I made one once with 14 pounds of Belgian Pils abd 2 pounds of Turbinado sugar. I used WLP 565 which is even slower than 568 (which is what I am going to use for the first time this week). This beer started with...

    HERMS Design Needs Review

I like the 2 pump version myself. With the wort going through the coil immersed in the boiling water does it raise the temp of the mash quick enough? What about having the wort recerculate from the mash tun and strait back into the it with direct fire under it? Of course there would have to be...
