In my case, the 10 tip burners are perfect for my 11 gallon batches. Weather low or high... If they are high pressure, I would get an adjustable regulator. They seem to work best in many applications and you will have the adjustability that you will need to fine tune to your needs.

    Kegerator or Keezer?

I would agree... I only added a collar to get my bar to a proper sitting bar height in my "original kegerator/keezer/bar/freezer" build... Though I went through the top of my bar, I wanted a new dinner table. It worked to where I needed a 2" X 4" collar to get it to bar height. We still eat...

No, I can see that that was pretty silly of me! I have added a bit to that link now so it should be more clear! I could not find a way to embed the album into that page so I had to link to it... Thanks fellas!

Um, are you guys clicking on the "brutus clones" link at the bottom of that paragraph? I should do something about that if don't see it!

    alenuts site and Brutus Ten

Yea, not sure really... I have looked at it on 2 imacs and just fired up my old pos windows laptop using ie and another old computer with firefox... Seems to work fine on all but that don't mean a thing with my poor website skills! If anyone can see some code that can help...

So I have FINALLY updated my alenuts site in my link below. I have now included a Brutus photo album that includes every Brutus out there that I have a photo for. If you have a Brutus that is not in this album, I would sure like to know about it and include it! I have been wanting to do this for...

    Countertop Brutus 20

Dayum my friend! Just got my BYO today. Most excellent article! (And not because you mentioned my name!) I am very humbled my friend, and thanks! This is very much your system! You have gone to a place where I (and a lot of others) have been thinking for quite some time. Small batch...

    Simple Brutus Clone Question

14 ga should be fine. That is what the pumps are anyway! :) I used 12 just because I had a bunch of it... I would not go lower than the components are wired themselves.

cost to build a brutus 10

Ah! Fair enough my friend... Keep in mind that although there are many a Brutus on this forum alone, I have pics of over a hundred systems around the world and converse over the years. So forgive me for looking more at an overall big pic of my system... Without a doubt, the number one thing is...

cost to build a brutus 10

I always appreciate your opinion Yuri, but when I give Brutus to my Son in 15 years, it will look just like the day I built it! :) In the long run, although SS is through the roof, there is no better choice. So many will attest to that after repainting over and over...

    My Brutus Build

Well I for one my friend, have a small tear welling up in my eye! This looks like it is going to be a GERAT build! Yea, the leveling tubes and casters make it all come together don't it... Maybe you can attest to the glory of the ratchet straps as well! Please keep the pics coming! I need...

    Acidifying meads...

Alright wish me luck fellas... I have some acid blend now and I am going to do some blind tasting while Moonbeam adds a measured pinch to a glass... Should be fun gauging this against the original mead...

    Therminator, Ice Water, Whirlpool... question

Yes, it is all about surface area... A block may not do so well... Yet cubes melt VERY fast... This is the quandary my friend... All the math in the world wont figure that out...

    Therminator, Ice Water, Whirlpool... question

For the longest time, I ran my exhaust hose right into my apartment dryer drain in the wall. I got my cold water from my washer supply with a "y" hose fitting...

    Therminator, Ice Water, Whirlpool... question

Personally this is exactly why I do it. Not withstanding, my trub and cold break is left in the kettle and not in my fermenter. In Texas, nothing comes out of the hose unless it's about 85 degrees! :)

shirron plate chiller vs. ebay plate chiller

I have about a hundred batches on my therminator... Obviously I love the dang thing! It lives in three places and three places only. When not in use, I take it straight off of Brutus, flush it with my 10 gals of ice water from the HLT used from cooling, drain it for a small bit and put it...
