    Beverage Air + Johnson Controller

By max I mean warm. And I'm looking to hardwire the Johnson control to the fridge. A new controller costs $55 and I'm sure would take weeks to ship. Looking to brew today.

    Beverage Air + Johnson Controller

Can I replace the temperature controller in my Beverage Air refrigerator with a Johnson A419 Controller? I broke the dial stem off the original controller, and instead of shelling out $55, I’d try to use what i have. And , unfortunately, the dial is stuck on the max instead of the min.

Fruit Beer Insanely Lemon Hefeweizen (Not for the faint of heart)

I've never had porch rocker, but it's a safe assumption that this is way beyond that. This stuff made me pucker every time. But I loved it!!

I tried this, but with a sanke coupler it didn't work. Dunno if there is a trick to it.

    Disposable kegs - reusable?

I know some European brands are using these to cut back on intl shipping costs of kegs. There are larger sizes as well. This particular keg is a Cleveland brewer (I am in Columbus Ohio) ill post the manufacturer website when I get home. The one I have is listed at 60psi

    Disposable kegs - reusable?

I forget the manufacturer, but they are calling them KeyKegs. I rigged this though. I have a small pond pump, so it's kind of a slow process. I inverted the actual container on its shell, and I'm pumping detergent water in thru the co2 line, and once it's full it will come out the beer line.

    Disposable kegs - reusable?

I work at a restaurant that has a great beer selection. We go through 25-30 kegs a week. Various sizes and such. We have received a few disposable kegs. Wondering if I can reuse this keg? If not for serving, at least for aging? I can't seem to get the collar off without damaging the whole...

    Dry hop transfer fkup

Seems I transferred quite a bit of dry hop turn into my keg. So much that it clogged my dip tube. I racked it to another keg, but can't get the last gallon or so thru my siphon. Any ideas on how to save this beer?

Going on second ever batch.. and I'm going to try a Tripel

It's not wine. Racking it will expose it to oxygen and other contaminants. If you really want to secondary, glass is oxygen-impermeable. Or you could give it an extra week in primary, and then bottle and leave it for 9-12 months.

    Big mash, small tun

Making a baltic porter today! Yum :tank: My problem is that once I have made all of my infusions, I have reached the capacity of my mash tun, and according to calculations, need 3.5 cups sparge. This is with a 14# grist and mashing in a 1qt/lb. It's a 2 step infusion with mashout 122- 139-...

    Watering down beer post-fermentation

4.6 is too strong? Just drink water in between beers. I would mix some and taste it before you bottle to make sure you'll still wanna drink it after diluting.
