    Any homebrewers in Alabama ?

Thanks, jpitts and brewbama. Newbie here trying to figure out when to start kegging... but temperature-controlled fermentation is the next big expense. Summer is nearly here. In the mean time, I am giving "real ale" in polypins a try. It makes bottling day a bit easier!

    Ebay wine cooler fermentation chamber

Reviving an old post to see if there is any new experience. I see a number of the coolers that allaway asked about originally still on eBay. They do look like thermoelectric coolers, with "Internal Dimensions: 13.4"(width)X12.6"(depth)x27.8"(height) " That would be good for my...

    Any homebrewers in Alabama ?

This is a pretty old thread, but I might hit the right folks. Can anybody point me toward a business near Huntsville that will fill CO2 cylinders for homebrewing? Thanks.

    New in Alabama

It turns out that I will be visiting Birmingham every couple of weeks for a while. If I have an hour or two to spare, what sites should I try to hit? I think I will be close to TrimTab and Good People. Are there any good "LHBS" businesses I should try to visit? Thanks.

I'm not sure what the right place for this question is, but searching produced too many hits. Can anyone recommend a place to get a CO2 tank filled for home draft dispensing in or near Huntsville, AL? Thanks.

    Wheres the 2.5 Gallon Brewer'$???

Newbie here. I'm continuously building a "Countertop Brutus" variant for 2-3 gallons, with an immersion chiller. Kudos to jkarp! https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showpost.php?p=6781267&postcount=29 That's a three gallon cooler for the mash tun ... for low to medium gravity ales. The...

    Help me name my EIPA

I see you are from San Diego. I had two thoughts, but no joy. There is already a Torrey Pines IPA and a Swami's IPA. It's not very original, but I name my beers after our dogs. Since I'm a newbie, I haven't run out of names yet.

    New in Alabama

Greetings. Now that home brewing is legal in Alabama, I have started assembling a small all-grain setup, copied from the well-known Countertop Brutus (but with immersion chilling). It's a work in progress. I am trying for 2.5 - 3 gallon batches of low gravity ales, porters, and stouts...
