    At 45f ambient a lager pitched with enough healthy yeast should actually get up to 48 to 50f.

    I would say you would need to replace the hose to the spray nozzle, and if that hose is under pressure, you would need to isolate that hose from the main water supply before you remove and replace it.

    If you bottled it 3 weeks ago, let it age (lager) for a while. Most of the off odors should weaken.

    And if that is a plastic cube you are fermenting in, I would make sure it was really clean before using it again. If you get another infection in that cube, toss it.

    I never do it, but sometimes limit my bines to 3 to 4 shoots per plant.

    All my grain is older than that I'm sure. It's not like we get fresh grain every time we buy a sack.

    You could try to re pitch new yeast at high krausen to kick start it again, taking into account the alcohol already in there affecting your yeast.
