    Used too much corn sugar

I use about that same ratio of sugar to make a strong dry cider so i dont think thats too much. But how 'long' did your primary go for? I use ale yeasts for my ciders and that ammount of alc doesnt kill them but the strain your using may be more sensitive.definetly take some readings, i dont...

How long to leave cider in secondary fermentation?

If your readings dont change at all and yes stay stable then fermentation is done (either your yeasties have kicked the bucket or your all out of sugar) by the sounds of it, i think your yeast has died but let the readings confirm it .and yup the more patient you are and leave it in secondary...

Hey newbie here with probably another easy question but does anyone know what this is? This is probably my 4th inmate style brew and this pulpy foam has appeared on top. Its been fermenting for about 5 days and the head started on the second day. Is it from the yeast nutrient i used or is it the...

First Cyser. What is this going on?

I did a cranberry and added a yeast nutrient and i got the exact same paste like chunks on the top as in your pic. I dunno if thats the cause but it looked exacly the same. After about 12 days it broke up and started to drop.
