Who is looking forward to the new chargers on the turnpike? They’re working on having 20 locations to charge in the next few years and the chargers starting this week I think our double the power from what was there.

I am well aware, but it’s how everybody uses it anymore. I could be wrong, but don’t you need to turn the wipers on and off with the touchscreen on the models without the stalks? That would deadline a vehicle for me.

Bricked as in “can’t control most of the functions of the car“ not that it won’t run. If I paint over my Kona’s screen, I lose the ability to see the navigation screen and CarPlay screen and set charging limits and not much else.

Ask Google. It did provide an instance of someone relating their experience when something inside slid and cracked the screen and the $3k replacement cost.

They fail quite often when something slides/falls/hits into them and cracks them. I prefer my car not be bricked until it gets fixed.

From a quick Google I was a little bit off, but it says cyber truck screen is $3000 to replace. $1500 is a lot though when it basically deadlines your vehicle.

And the interior design hasnt improved. Having everything in one screen in the middle of the dash is terrible. And if you break it last I heard it was $3500 or you can’t do anything in the vehicle like change the radio or use maps etc.

Yards in Philadelphia made a spruce beer but they haven’t in 2 years or so. Hope they do again.

Safety. The USA runs on 240v but we split it to 120 for most devices. No need to replace any transformer anywhere.

Not only that, if you have solar and either a battery or the right micro inverters, you can have power without the grid working at all. Try making your own gasoline without infra ;-)

For lemon you are better off using bottles of lemon juice and adding the sugar yourself. Apple is a bit harder…

So depending on the usage, charging to 100% is fine. I do it for longer trips. As long as it’s not sitting at 100% for long periods of time it’s not that bad, and the car can report the battery condition/degradation so there’s no mystery. Mine knows exactly how many times and kWh it’s fast...
