Can you provide some additional info? Like what you used for priming, how it was stored, etc.? I haven't tried the 500ml swing-tops, but I had a friend have issues with those specifically. I think it was a bad top or something like that, but not 100% sure.

Brewed up a Holiday Red on Sunday using some new (to me) techniques. Probably one of my better brew days, too. The 60 degree morning temps also made it easier to stand outside with the kettle.

It almost looks like one of those root beer bottles you can get with a root beer kit, just not brown. The only thing clear bottles would be good for is a Mexican style beer, like a Corona or Landshark lager clone. I personally haven't tried it as I'm not a big fan of that style. Maybe someday...
