    sourcing renewable co2?

Contrary to popular belief, cow farts are not a major source of greenhouse gas. It's cow burps. And it's not CO2, it's methane. If figured that on a homebrewing site, we would want to get our facts straight about the serious topic of farts and burps.

    Recipe Credit?

Just let me know who came up with the recipe "grain, water, hops, and yeast" and I'll give them credit ... because I've just been making minor adjustments to that one.

    Opinions on Extract Brewing

For me it was $3.10. Oh yeah, plus tax. That's what I paid for my paint strainer bag that I bought so I could do all grain BIAB. I already had my brew pot that I use on my kitchen propane stove. If I did my ciphering correctly, I broke even about half way into my first all-grain brew. When this...

    Bell’s Two Hearted Ale...meh

May I ask what is the date of the episode you watched? I'm not sure we are referring to the same thing.

    Chest freezer

For 3 carboys, probably 8 cubic feet or larger. If it's close, it's always best to measure to be sure. Have you seen this: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/chest-freezer-specs-and-layouts.377518/

    Bell’s Two Hearted Ale...meh

And for yet another datapoint, Basic Brewing (March 7, 2019 episode) did a batch with Bell's hops and one with "regular" homebrew centennial and they felt they could tell a difference.

    Priming Sugar Calculators

Not quite. The yeast are going to keep fermenting until they run out of sugar. So if you use more sugar you are going to end up with more CO2 (and more alcohol), not the same amount of CO2 and more sugar left over. In other words, in the end the beer won't be sweeter it will just be fizzier.

    Fermentation high temp

How bad this is depends on which yeast we're talking about. But for most ale yeasts that's too hot so you will probably get a lot of esters and fusel alcohol. Do you have it cooled down now? I would let it finish fermenting and taste it. If it tastes like fusel alcohols -- it's like a "hot"...

    Smoky IPA

Looks nice. Smoked grains can be tricky because they seem to vary a lot regarding how much smokiness they contribute. How old the grain is and how it's stored also seems to matter quite a bit. We need something like ISU (international smokey unit). I bet it will change a bit after it's bottled.

    IPA Glassware

I'm also very picky about my beer glasses. I always pick the one holds the most beer.

Ship beer vs fly with it?

Yeah ... I had that happen when bringing back some beers from Prairie in Oklahoma. It's amazing how much of my wife's clothes I had to throw away to get that suitcase back under the weight limit.

The craft beer bubble is busting.

Sometimes I just let them pour the beer into my cupped hands held under the faucet.

You know you're out of shape when...

When you pull a hamstring .... bowling. My daughter was invited to a birthday party at a bowling alley. They had reserved several lanes and said the parents could also bowl. Around the 7th frame I moved wrong somehow and tweaked my hamstring and was limping around for a few days. How pathetic...

Drinking beer while your'e driving? See, it's thoughtless drivers like this that inspires these threads in the first place. Everyone knows you need to put that beer in a spill-proof travel mug.

    Bud Light "ingredients label" commercial

I would have sworn that Budweiser (regular not the light) had the ingredients listed on the label for years. But maybe it was just a bad dream I had where I was drinking a Bud.
