    Sparkling "Hard" water recipe

Schlenkerla how much of that acid blend did you add for 5 gallons? Going to use some citric acid crystals, debating best way to figure out amount to get pH down in the 5's Edit: Nevermind found your post with amounts

Gluten levels in commercial beers, Clarity Ferm and other questions

Yea that's a great point - so far she's been rolling with White Claw's and Trulys, I'm a little intrigued by what brands are using other than cane sugar or corn sugar, but definitely something to look out for.

Gluten levels in commercial beers, Clarity Ferm and other questions

My wife is in similar position, did a lot of panels just this April and came back non-celiac but very gluten sensitive. I tried to do a little probing with her doctor and she recommended still avoiding anything that contains gluten, even significantly reduced. Like skleice said you just can't...

Are you guys generally following Schlenkerla's recipe? Going to give this a shot this week to keg up for the beach for Labor Day. Planning to up the corn syrup a bit but still use a little honey. Sorghum, rice syrup & oatmilk NEIPA

Hi everyone! My wife recently has gone gluten free and loves IPAs, so I'm planning my first gluten free one after combing through this forum awhile. WLP030 Thames Valley & WLP515 Antwerp are super-Chicos?

I was just looking into using WLP515 so this is a timely thread! My thought is to use it in a clone of Leinenkugel's Cherry Doppelschwarz. It's an ~8% beer and I'm going for really big mouthfeel with a clean flavor. Thoughts on this in that application? It sounds like White Labs' version of a...

    Carboy CO2 Transfer

I've seen a lot of people detail using the orange carboy caps with co2 hooked up on one piece and then a siphon coming out the other which goes to liquid post of a keg, and then just pull the relief valve on the keg for filling. I've hooked it all up but I can't quite the beer to start...

    Treehouse Brewing Julius Clone

I've been following this whole thread so thought I should chime in with my first attempt. Pretty pleased overall - flavor is excellent, aroma is good, color is good but a little more translucent than I wanted, mouthfeel great but could maybe be a little softer (will probably try higher Cl:SO4...
