    Sync Beersmith on multiple computers

Even though I have been able to make BS work with my cloud drive (Dropbox, not GDrive) this might be a better way to do things. Thanks for the idea, @smellyglove

    Sync Beersmith on multiple computers

CRD is a great tool, I use it to access my BrewPi too

    Sync Beersmith on multiple computers

Just remember, only access the "shared" files from one computer at a time, or you could mess up your files. Note that this method, which I use myself, is discouraged by the author of BS, Brad Smith, because of the risk mentioned above.

    Let's talk about blending wine

I did a sort of RR Consecration clone, and went very heavy on the cab soaked oak. On tasting after 1 year of fermentation and 3 months of the oak, I initially thought the wine was too strong. But it grew on me; friends and brew club members seem to like it. So go ahead and add the wine, wi...

    Sous Vide mash anybody?

And then you could splurge (Christmas is coming, right?) and get yourself a PicoBrew Zymatic, which just happens to be able to do sous-vide cooking, as well as brewing beer . A bit more expensive that the sous-vide circulator but....:mug:

Grogtag.com and Beercling.com have write on labels, the latter also has the special wax pencils that work better than whiteboard sharpies.

An Introduction to Doing a Cereal Mash

@Kruger_Brewer - great article, clarifies a lot for me about cereal mashing. However..... as someone using a Picobrew Zymatic automated brewing system, I have a couple of questions. 1) If I understand correctly, the cereal mash is a mini mash creating wort that is added to the main mash, yes? 2)...

    My Picobrew Thread

Sounds like a good idea, but I would most certainly check with PicoBrew on this - post something on their forum and Kevin will probably answer. Or better still send you question to info at picobrew.com

    Cigar City Jai Alai Clone

My experience is that the draught version is significantly better that the cans, so if you like the cans, try hard to find a bar/restaurant with "the real thing". :mug:

    6 Gallon Better Bottle Carboy

Have you seen the new BrewDemon PET conicals? Available in 2.5 & 6 gal versions. Just finished my first brew in one, hard cider, and if you like to harvest yeast, it leaves a great little pudding shaped clump after racking the beverage. Well not racking, just pouring out of the tap into the keg...

The hopefully not obnoxious wood fired brick oven build thread

My own story: After moving away from my first oven my wife insisted on a new one. I did not disagree as there is nothing like wood fired pizza. So about 9 months ago I started. The slab was already there, put in when we had some hardscaping done. I went to the DIY store to pick up the first...

    Picobrew?

The part of the process that I enjoy most is connect the line to the keg, hold the glass under the tap and pull the tap towards you. Then quaff! Seriously though, brewing is still fun because it is so easy. And the 2.5 gal batches mean you can try different kinds of beer quickly.

    PicoBrew

Yup, I transfer to a bucket for primary to free up the brew keg, and to keep the keg clean. It also allows me to aerate more too. I think the secret is keeping the machine clean, I do a couple of rinse cycles before and after each brew, and a deep clean every fourth brew.

    My Picobrew Thread

Let me add my praises for the PicoBrew. Since receiving it I have brewed an average of every other week. So much that I had to order extra kegs from AIH. It is so easy, and as I followed the advice in this thread of cleaning thoroughly, all my beers that are dinkable are very drinkable. And that...
