    My Weldless Build Using Strut

I'd love to know more about the blue flexible gas line you have... where you get that? How long is it? Do you like it? I've been using one of those yellow bendable metal ones you attach to a dryer...not long enough and gets in the way! Thanks!

Will this fridge work for fermentation/lagering chamber?

SO... I'm supposed to pick up a fridge next weekend for my new under-the-workbench fermentation/lagering chamber. The chamber is going to be about 4.5x2ft in size with the intention of having three chambers... two for different fermenting temps and the main chamber for lagering (main chamber...

    More local Christmas beer exchange

Buying ingredients today and brewing on Wednesday. You guys want me to send an email to Foam on the Range to see if there's any last minute interest, or would you like to just leave it at three people and worry about more participation for let's say a valentine's day brew?

Mixed up two kegs... one needs to age more after crash cooling! Help!

So I kegged two beers and then put the wrong label on them after kegging the second beer. The first is a Saison and the second is a Porter. The Porter was supposed to sit out an extra two weeks to age a bit longer (needed it). I thought I put the Saison in the keezer, but after tapping it I...

    More local Christmas beer exchange

Here's the lineup from the first post on the original thread... I think its good to at least brew about half of these to keep it seasonal, but a good beer is a good beer regardless of season! _________________________________ Some have expressed an interest in joining a local 12 beers of...

Sorry Chessking! Got the wrong name! Hernando, what size batches are you making if you don't mind me asking? I can certainly appreciate you not wanting to hand out a sub par beer.

    Local 12 beers of Christmas

Oh, just noticed that the signup is closed at 11 beers of Christmas... that technically makes Chessking a grinch, but ok. :p You guys have me thinking though... perhaps this setup isn't a bad idea moving forward where there's perhaps a quarterly beer swap? Maybe this could be done more often...

Just dont break the tab on the side of the outlet! If anything, your setup is easier than most. Tab on mine was a bitch to break off! The tab is what bridges the power to both outlets.

I like your idea of using it as a themometer! Hadnt realy thought of that. May just use it in the chicken coop during the winter to see how cold its getting!

Back fo the relay issue real quick... It does indeed look like i have a 220 volt model. I want to say i was aware of there being two different voltages when i bought it, but who knows. Can't tell by my emails which one i ordered! Oh well. Glad it's not faulty at least! David

Anybody ever use a main co2 valve in your keezer to prevent leaks?

Thanks for all the feedback! I will just tripple check everything and use some quality clamps! Looks like a electric valve would run about 100 bucks anyway, hardly worth it.

Anybody ever use a main co2 valve in your keezer to prevent leaks?

So I was thinking... just like a sprinkler system tends to have a main valve to prevent wasted water, wouldn't it make sense to have a main valve in your gas line before the manifold to prevent leaks? I'm building a 6 tap keezer; just think of all the parts co2 can leak from; Posts on kegs x6...

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

just found it; post 547 (i think) Bjornbrewer states: "You can just plug the fridge in and away you go...instead of the internal t-stat controlling the temp, you're essentially plugging and unplugging the fridge via the controller." I'm buying another one today. Now that I'm ready to...
