TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

Have you tried connecting to the board in AP mode? Meaning, after you flash it, use your phone to connect to it like a wifi hotspot in a coffee shop. Make sure you turn off the mobile data on your phone to force it to connect to the board. Then open a website and navigate to any site. You should...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

I'm getting this error when I try to flash the device. Any ideas? TypeError at /firmware/flash/9/ __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'max_errors' Request Method: POST Request URL: http://192.168.86.29/firmware/flash/9/ Django Version: 1.11.20 Exception Type: TypeError Exception...

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

Check out this info from Elco. https://community.brewpi.com/t/ssr-always-on-off-depending-on-inverted-not-inverted-setting/2254

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

I think that is incorrect. When pin 5&6 call for heating and cooling, it will provide 5v to the SSR. Hook up ground and 5 or 6 to each SSR. Fuzzee's diagram includes the 5v because the relay board needs power. I believe the problem is that you have them as inverted when they should be...

    My mostly automated brucontrol setup

The picture makes the glass look oblong instead of cylindrical.

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

I get a kick out of seeing my beer stay within .1 degree of my set temp. Looks like quite a swing, but check out the scale of the graph.

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

This is just about the coolest thing ever, @Thorrak. My Tilt has been very frustrating and hasn't been reliable due to the conical and the fridge it is in. Can't wait to put one of these together and put it in my fridge. Thanks for your efforts!

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Google is going to issue you a cease and desist order if you continue to call the camera aimed at the nest a nestcam. [emoji16]

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

When you first start up the ESP, it is in a special mode like @day-trippr mentioned. It is made to act like a wifi network. Power it up and then grab your phone and use the wifi feature to connect to the ESP like you're access a wifi network in a coffee shop or something. Then open a webpage...

    Blonde Ale Murican Blonde Ale

Been brewing since the mid nineties and I did something today for the first time while brewing this beer. I forgot my 0 minute addition. I found it perfectly labeled and ready for me to pitch at flameout. I line up all of my additions in marked cups so I don't forget. Well, I forgot. I'm going...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Try swapping the RX and the TX. I think the shield labels refer to which pins on the bluetooth module to hook up to the shield.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

I was thinking about using two sensors and removing the low pressure one after I've filled the fermenter. It would be on a tri clamp and would be the same port that I use for sampling. The higher pressure one would be in the lid and would remain in place.

    Thanks, that will work perfectly.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Another question as I plan my BruControl build. I have a conical fermenter that I use as a unitank with a spunding valve to carbonate near the end of fermentation. If I put a pressure sensor on my conical using one of the ports near the bottom, could I use that to determine the volume of wort...

This. Just clip them off, no need to desolder them.

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Of course you are 100% correct. I'm working without a net from Spring Training without a schematic in front of me. But one shouldn't need a schematic to remember that wiring scheme. And one (me) shouldn't respond without the correct info.

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

I think that @day_trippr surmised earlier that the "doubling up" of the resistors probably wouldn't cause an issue like what you're seeing. When you had it working on the sketch on your UNO, did you try hooking up the shield and seeing if it worked with your simple sketch? I'd try that before...
