    Victory Brewing Co

    Love the Victory brews. A friend and me had the V-12 one night and a few days later my wife and I stopped into the same place for dinner and beers. She ordered a V-12 and the bartender was new and served it in a full pint glass. Needless to say SWMBO was feeling great off of a pint of that :mug:

    What size of blowoff tube are you trying to use? I use 7/16 OD 5/16 ID tubing and it fits right into a standard #6.5 drilled bung.

    Sampled about 2oz out of my secondary last night, it's been in there for 3 days, when a friend stopped by and it was amazing. I posted the recipe I used up a few posts. I ended up leaving it in the primary for 2 weeks because it was still actively fermenting after 7 days. OG is unknown...

    A single co-worker of mine has to work today, so I invited him over for beer and desserts when he gets off. We have a Port Brewing HOP-15, Stone Kona/Macadamia/Coconut Porter, and a Bad Elf Winter Ale. He's bringing a few Belgians and I'm sure we'll crack one of my homebrews too.

    Doing A 5 Gal Boil Extract Recipe in a 6 Gal Pot?

    So you are trying to do a full 5 gallon boil in a 6 gallon pot? I've been doing 6 gallon boils in a 7.5 gal pot and am constantly fighting boilover for the first 20-30 mins. I wouldn't think you could get 5.5 gallons to boil in a 6 gal pot without boiling over big time.

    best way to crack grains with out a mill

    If there's a microbrewery near you, ask if they could help you out and mill your grains. I was checking out a local one yesterday and the brewmaster said the he'll grind grains and gives away yeast to homebrewers all the time. He just asks that you bring in a bottle of your stuff in return :mug:
