I'm in the middle of mashing and looked at the power cord on the Grainfather. It is only 14 gauge wire. Shouldn't it be 12 gauge since it is requiring a dedicated 20 amp outlet?

I try to take the pump apart every 5 brews. Some nasty stuff builds up in there no matter how long you run PBW.

This setup finally gives me some room to move around the Grainfather while chilling.

I'd call it more like whiskey in a beer bottle. Warning label on neck of the bottle said to only have 35ml sitting.

Hard to call this beer @ 67.5% abv

That was what I was looking for. Pistachio malt in a red sounds interesting.

2lbs of cherry smoked. It is very subtle in the taste but pairs well with the tart citrusy flavor from the 3724 yeast.

Southern Tier cold press pumpkin and Weyerbacher Dallas sucks. Love vacation days on Friday when you work 2nd shift! Now a non pictured HB smoked saison first tap.
