Yah. And how are the rocks you may or may not posses? Depending on the right turning temporal vortex, of course. My straight what? As opposed to my simply twisted whatever?

    Moving in June

I'm not a member of any club. Herself & I did the "Buy a house & move in together" thing so I've not had a chance to really get out & away yet. Baltibrew is the major one here & I'll be joining it in a wee bit. Nepenthe is a nice place. I've posted my thoughts about it elsewhere in the...

    Ballpark Beer

http://baltimore.thedrinknation.com/articles/read/10352-Orioles-Brew-Craft-Beer-Options-at-Camden-Yards We get some good ones. Glad that there's something other than Natty Boh. And Flying Dog does a "Firkin Friday" where they'll tap a cask conditioned brew.

Brand New Brewer. Cecil County Maryland

http://www.nepenthehomebrew.com/ I've been there several times. New place. The owners are nice, knowledgeable & they seem to have the customer service aspect well in hand. They just started up their brew-on-premisis operation, but I have no knowledge of the pricing. They have a good...

    From Grain to Glass

Ordered a few pounds of hops late on a Sunday night. Got a shipment tracking # on the following Tuesday morning & the hops showed up on Thursday. You really can't ask for better than that.

    Any beer drinkers like spirits?

I love a good Scotch. Many. Mostly lowland & speyside for my taste. I do understand that some folk don't care for them (yay. more for me), but a wee dram whilst sitting in front of a fire is a thing of beauty & a joy forever. Also lately I've been getting into rye. Old style flavor profiles...

"Nothing that can hurt you can live in beer"- Confirmed!

Understood. Full disclosure. I am*NOT* in the medical or biological research fields as a profession. I'm in IT. However, I directly work with & support those who are, so their attitudes & techniques have more than rubbed off on me.

"Nothing that can hurt you can live in beer"- Confirmed!

Actually, no it isn't. If it can hurt you, as in cause actual, physical harm, then it's not beer. By definition. And canning vs fermenting is an invalid comparison. Two vastly different processes, results & caveats. This thread, and all the other alarmist ones before it that this addresses, is...

add oxygen after 4 days fermentation ?

Concur. Leave it alone & it might turn out to be the best beer you ever made. Muck with it by adding O2 & you're pretty much guaranteed to screw it up big time. Also, indulge in patience. Let some of it sit conditioning well longer than you think it should. Weeks longer. You might be...

    The Good Woman...

.. is a good woman. Surprised me today. She came home from work & walked in the house & said "Can you please help me? I went shopping & there's some stuff in the back of my car I'd like your help with" Yadda yadda yadda. So, like a good male counterpart, I go off to empty out the back of...
