    Carboy lamp I made while stuck inside

    I would surmise the LED could have an effect on the beer based on the light output. UVA-UVB, we know that will skunk a beer. Not a temperature F/C issue but a color temperature K.

    Coil Wort Chillers what to buy?

    I've got a 25' stainless 3/8" coil, I gently stir with the coil and I get to pitch in under 15min. the vinyl hoses kinked from the heat in the boil pot but it still rocks the cold break.

    Oxyclean for cleaning primary bucket

    I'm not sure of where the funk grew from in the secondary. Primary looked awesome, secondary looked clean and the in week 3 something started growing. so what ever it is I just want to go no-rinse to eliminate the rinsing and Starsan seems to be the choice most recommended online.

    I'm using it as my first cleaner, it is slimy but rinses out with hot water. I have a little B-Brite left but just got Starsan as my final sanitizer. after 5 weeks 2p/3secondary my stout looks like it's got the funk.

    Brisket sounds good, pork is cheaper these days so a butt or shoulder may be in my cards rather than beef brisket. i never saw a pork brisket but pulled pork comes from a similar cut, Yes?

    Question about a used turkey fryer

    I was worried about using my fryer for both. After frying in it, clean and boil just water, clean again and I was good to go. I didn't have to scrub the **** out of it. Creme Ale extract went well, know for sure after bottle carbing. Not too concerned.. will BAIB in it next batch.

    I don't think I said hi in the thread. Turkey Fryer for 3-4 gal boils. Kitchen at FD for fulls if I want. Like the big kitchen much better. Extract with specialty grains but want to BIAB!.
