My Actual gravity was 1.050. Phew.

It was an extract brew. OHHHHHH sorry i know what i did. I took my reading right from my 3 gal boil not the full 5 gal after i topped with water. Phew, thought a 9% brew was a little far fetched.

So i just brewed a Smashing Pumpkin Ale from NB... Says OG should be around 1.54 according to iBrewMaster but my OG turned out to be 1.082 at 70f.. Im not an expert, this is my second brew, but that is way off. What did i do wrong?? How do you think this will affect my poor beer? Only...
