Our directions say to cool wort from boiling to 80° in 15-20 min. It took us 40 min. Dont have the nifty cooling tool yet. Will it cause a provlem because it took us so long?
When we were doing the final step of our first batch of beer, some of the yeast exploded out of the tube. It said to shake it. It was like when you open a soda and some fizzes out. I am concerned that we lost to much yeast to make a good batch. This ever happen to anyone?
