I believe NorCal Homebrew shop sales yeast brinks that can be used to dry hop.

I saw someone do this in a fermentasaurus and all he did was vacuum seal the magnets just to be sure it was safe for contact with the wort. Pulled the outside magnet and dropped hop bag completely in the wort. I'm sure you could use two magnets turn the bag upside down and pull the bottom magnet.
You say overpriced and a better "brain" than the SS V1, but neither of those other options are SSVR capable, which means the "bag" in BIAB would have to be protected and/or not come into contact with the heating element. Another negative is with the protruding temp probes on the other two...
High Gravity Wart hog controller, blichmann boil coil, you already have the pump that will save some dough. EBiab is cheapest and easiest but you could easily do a 2 vessel with the items mentioned above and another kettle.

I've thought about doing the hose thing except with a heavy plug in the end and holes in the hose, so it pulls the hose down and kind of sprays the recirc mash through out the mash...not sure if that helps anything just liked the idea of lodo recirculation.
Gillian Welch - Hard Times
Depressing songs but damn well written and sung.
