For Sale 6-Tap Kegerator w/ Perlick Faucets - $800 (Tallahassee, FL)

Decluttering my space and unfortunately this kegerator didn't make the cut. This kegerator fits 6 corny homebrew kegs + a CO2 tank very tightly. Comes with 6 perlick faucets, empty co2 tank, temperature controller, 6 corny kegs and everything listed. Needs new lines. Most likely needs a new...

    In de Vrede - Westvleteren

Here is some info from a local: Lately it has become sheer impossible, even for us Belgian's, to get our hands on a crate of Westvleteren... I don't think you can visit the abbey though. However, there's a little pub next to the abbey where you can drink a Westvleteren...

    Cask Ales

We're staying in Southwark in the Mad Hatter hotel for 3 days. We'll be traveling all throughout London as diligently as we can, so hopefully we can get in as many spots as we can. First stop is Ye Olde Mitre although our hotel has a pub as it's run by Fullers.

I'll fill you in on the details as soon as I hear from Marc's contact.

    Cask Ales

I'll be traveling to London soon and I'm excited to get my hands on some cask conditioned hand-pulled real ale. I know that cask conditioned refers to beer that has naturally carbonated in the keg and hasn't been pasteurized or filtered. What are the chances of finding a hand-pulled oak aged...

    In de Vrede - Westvleteren

Well apparently I can't read. The mix doesn't require reservation and it looks like they just have a window of time you can come pick it up. Otherwise you go to the cafeteria? * A MIX is a degustation packet containing one bottle TW Blond, one bottle TW 8 and one bottle TW 12. It is sold...

    In de Vrede - Westvleteren

I'll be traveling to Belgium (among many other places) next month. Of course one of the destinations is Westvleteren. I'm aware of the process to reserve beer from them, however I really only want to walk away with maybe 2 six packs (per person) of their mix. From what I understand, you can buy...

    Particles in aged beer

OK this isn't a homebrew, but I imagine this could happen with a homebrew so I think it's an appropriate question. I just popped open a year old bottle of La Rulles Tripel that I had in my fermenter. Unlike most yeast sediment, this seems to stay in suspension. Could this be a protein haze? I've...

    Withering leaves

Tallahassee. I've tried twice before and failed... planted either too deep or too late in the heat. For the ones pictured, this is their first season. The zeus are taking off, the cascades are struggling a bit.

    Withering leaves

I'll give that a try and see what happens. The soil gets pretty dry by the evening that's what bothered me, not to mention it's already hitting high 90s in Florida... I hear what you're saying, just hard to hold back on the watering :)

Yes I am. We've been getting ok rain lately.

    Withering leaves

I live in Florida and planted a couple of Cascades and a couple of Zeus since folks seem to have a lot of luck with those around here. My zeus are doing fine (middle image), however much to my surprise the cascades are off to a rough start. Planted around a month ago, the leaves are looking...

    Florida Hops Growing Fail

Went to a local nursery and they recommended a 3-in-1 organic fertilizer to get rid of the bugs and fungus. It's basically neem oil, smells horrible but you only apply it weekly. We'll see if that does the trick.

    Florida Hops Growing Fail

Ok so I migrated them into a pot, with organic potting mix and some bamboo shoots to grow up. Loosely zip tied them up the shoot. Also placed the pot in an area that gets good morning sunlight, but doesn't get hit with the scorching afternoon sun. The grass grows perfectly in that area, not sure...

    Florida Hops Growing Fail

This is my first attempt at hops growing in Florida. Maybe not my first, I previously attempted some Cascades and Williamettes from rhizomes earlier this year, I think I ended up planting them too deep... I dug them up since I saw no growth and found two soggy/rubbery roots :( This time I...
