    Amarillo Hops

Amarillo hops are my new crack. I did an Amarillo Pale Ale and boy, oh boy, is it wonderful. A wonderful bitter flavor and then a hit of citrus hop flavor. I used them for bittering, flavor, and a dry-hop addition. I am seriously thinking about trying to use them on some grilled chicken or...

    1 month fermenttion?

I let my first brew sit in the primary for a week and did a 1 month secondary. It was is a good beer and had very little sediment in it. So I bottled my first brew, a Cream Stout kit from Midwest, this past Friday. Everything went better than expected. It was a little messy, but nothing too crazy. The beer tasted great as it was before being bottled. Can't wait to try it when it is fully carbed. I'm having one only 5 days out of...

    Southwest Florida LHBS run!

If you don't mind, let us know how the experience goes. I live 30 minutes away, but have been to Heart's. Have heard mixed reviews about the service. Would like to see if it is worth the venture.
