Just read this end to end and I'm jealous I didn't get in on this. Going to harass Big Kahuna for some of his :D Interested to see what it tastes like when you guys crack em open in about 2 months.
Hey guys I'm back. Been around lurking but not visiting as much as I would have liked and definitely not contributing like I want. Things have changed and stayed the same :) Family is growing, I'm still brewing and I still can't find enough time to brew :D
Hope to contribute to the cause...
We take things like that for granted here. Fort Collins is only like 120 miles from me yay :). The 1554 is the best they make, but I do like the frambozen seasonal they make.
Mine was in for 3 months as well (i actually forgot it was sitting in the back of the closet). I bottled it this weekend. I wanted some sparkling so I mixed it with dextrose, but I did do 2 still ones for me and SWMBO and stuck em in the fridge. I liked it, it really was just like a dry wine...
So I'm probably fine and will bottle but wanted to get someone else's opinion that is more experienced than me. Made a batch of Ed's beginning of March and.... I forgot about it. It is in the back of my crawlspace closet and got kind of hidden. He mentions going 6 weeks to 2 months is fine...
