After my last keezer died, this is the direction I think I'm going with the new one. Custom vinyl graphic front and top with either gold/black collar/skirt (mock-up shows gold) in either a paint or stain. Prob 6 faucets. Other than "Iowa sucks" what do you guys think? Also, lid will be black...
Back in June I brewed a nice stout. I had gotten it racked and put the airlock in (3 piece type), life interrupted the process and somehow I forgot to put any liquid in it. I didn't notice it until later that week when I went to check on how fermentation was going. At that point I just...
After 2 years and 9 months the keezer I built finally sh*t the bed :( Came out to get a draw and noticed it was kind of warm. Realized the thing was dead. Guess I'm going to track down a new freezer and start over...kind of sad, but really fun!!
I got them from Kegconnection.com about 3 weeks ago. I just went to look for them on their site but I don't see them. For reference purposes they were $3.95/ea and the SKU/description is SK127 Shank, Flange - Stainless Steel

So this is really a stupid question, I just don't want to mess something up.
I finally have some beer ready to put in a keg. I'm going to force carb.
Any special order on how I connect/apply gas, etc.
For instance should I have the gas shut off. Pop on the gas disconnect, pop on the...
So I'm in the process of building a keezer (isn't everyone it seems?) and had some cosmetic questions.
The freezer I got off CL is a 7.x cf GE that I'll fit 4 kegs in. Anyway, it's been in someones garage for a couple years and has a few scratches, etc.
1) Has anyone painted a white...
I have a similar situation except I don't have any Co2 yet. I just kegged my beer and closed it up real tight. Provided I get some Co2 on it within a week or so do I run the risk of oxidation? I assume since the keg is airtight then it's no different than if it was still in the secondary?
