Hi there,
So I've got a bucket of Canadian blonde going with 3 days left before bottling. Thought I'd do a gravity test, smell and taste test also tonight. The hydrometer sank straight to the bottom. It tastes and smells really good. Is the hydrometer sinking to the bottom normal? It's my first...
I had a heat belt on it, it was about 25 yesterday, not sure what happened. Heat belt's off now. Honestly not too fussed how this turns out, all about the learning. This forum's being invaluable, thank you all
I'm just using the stuff they sent for the first one, more to get used to the kit etc. Taste is a secondary concern, as long as it's at least semi drinkable. I'll be studying recipes and techniques for the next one
I just got a brewsmarter equipment kit which came with a can of "Cooper's Canadian blonde". The instructions say use 1kg of brew enhancer 1, I don't have 1kg of brew enhancer. I do have 1kg of dextrose however, which came in the pack. The question is, do I put the whole 1kg in?
Thanks
I think this is the one - http://www.brewsmarter.co.uk/brewsmarter-premium-starter-beer-kit-best-value-844-p.asp
Hopefully ordered today! Feel like a kid at Christmas
A couple of friends and I wanted to start brewing, one of the friends knew about this place. Been here ever since, not going anywhere either.
Great job, love it
Hi there,
I'm looking to get brewing at the end of the month and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for kits to start out? I'd be looking for something that would contain everything that was needed and would last a good few brews. I've had a look about but advice is always nice...
