Wow! You weren't joking. I brewed this yesterday and it's fermenting like crazy. This is the first time I've used a blowoff tube and boy am I glad I am because I'd have krausen all over my floor by now.

I'm up in Encinitas and am part of the Barley Literates. There's a meeting tomorrow night (Wed. May 21) at Stone that I may or may not be able to go to. We meet upstairs, just look for the big group with the growlers on the tables. I bet there will be a lot of chat and pictures of the SoCal...

I tried searching but didn't really find any good threads. Where do or did you all get your tower from? I have a 4912 that I've modified the door, but haven't gotten a tower yet (using a picnic faucet). I see them everywhere, but should I assume the quality is the same? Chrome? Stainless?

Is it save to dump iodophor-ed water outside? The reason I ask is that it's a pain to have to do everything in the sink. It'd be easier to do some of this outside with the garden hose, but it'd be a hassle to bring it inside and dump it in the sink. Would it cause issues with grass? Stain...

I ordered some stuff from them last week and did a will-call pick up. No problems and they had it ready when I picked it up. Were you able to get the fitting off?

Hop schedule, yes. Grain bill, I think so, if I can understand the printout. I'll try and find the printout and let you know. Levitation is a lighter beer compared to other stone brews, I guess a maltier and somewhat hoppy session beer.
