Just put one on my 7 gallon aluminum pot, and it works wonderfully with no leaks. Definitely one of the best upgrades I've made to my equipment to date. Just got the standard SS one from NorthernBrewer.

Not a bad idea! Plastic wrap definitely couldn't hurt, and better than worrying about it :) I figure that there has to be a least a little pressure left in there, or at least all co2. Thanks!
