How long did it take you until you made a awesome batch?

My first beer was awesome because I made it! :mug: On the serious side my beers got amazingly better as soon as I built a fermentation chamber and could control my temps. Fermentation temperature is a much overlooked, but much needed aspect of brewing.

    American Citra-Wheat - Appropriate Carb

Style guidelines for an American Wheat calls for a carbonation level of 2.3 to 2.6 volumes (I'm assuming the style from the yeast). I like my wheat beer with heavier carbonation...about 3 volumes. Per beersmith this is what you need assuming your bottling. For 2.3 volumes at 70F 3.93oz corn...

I'm a picky drunk. Help me choose my first brew!

Kits are a convenient way to get all your ingredients in one shot. If your LHBS doesn't have a particular style in a kit the staff may be able to put one together for you. IPAs and darker beers can help cover up the "extract" flavor from many kits.

WANTED: Cracked Warped 10 gallon Home Depot Cooler

I have one that I do not use anymore. The inside is warped, outer shell is in good shape. 15 bucks plus shipping from NC, I would also be willing to trade for beer. I can send pics when I get home tonight. Edit: I see your in Cary. I live in Durham so shipping would not be necessary.
