Besides get rid of the cat, what should I do? It had been going about 9 hours, and was bubbling nicely after only 3 hours. Was probably "open" about 6 hours. I had a fermentation lock on top and it didn't come out, just water spilled as well as 1/3 of wort inside bottle . Should I go buy...
I am in Houston as well. Just cracked the bottle on my first partial mash yesterday. Doing my second batch tomorrow after the WC game. Would like to get into AG brewing but would like to see it done first. I am in SW Houston.
I soak mine overnight in some soapy water, then use the back of a knife to scrape the glue off the SN bottles. Rub any excess off with a wash rag. Works like a charm. The Euro bottle labels slip right off, but the SN have thick glue.
