    Air leaks from keg below 10 psi

    It seems to be ok down to 10psi which makes the beer come out a little fast but beter than nothing. It sucks I can't use my hand pump now and I have to lug the CO2 with me to a party tonight. I was planning on getting those bigger mcmaster O rings from the above post. Any thoughts? McMaster-Carr

    This is my first time kegging so I hope i'm doing it right. I followed the directions and put the keg below 40deg @ 30psi and rocked it for 2 minutes. Then i let it sit for an hour and a half and tryed to see if the carbonation took. Well I was letting the pressure out through the release valve...

    O.G. is off and I don't know why.

    Is there a way to test the alcohol content when the beer is finished since I got a bad first reading. I just put it in the secondary fermenter today and it should be done in about a week.

    So using the info I gathered from "the joy of homebrewing", I decided to make a pale ale. The book said to use 6.5lbs of light malt extract and 1/2lb of crystal malt for a O.G. of 1.044-1.056. Since the place where I get my ingrdients only sells in whole pounds I use 6lbs of the extraxt and 1lb...
