I purchased a stir starter today and an erlenmeyer flask today to make a starter with. I had it spinning nicely before I added the yeast to the flask. I picked up the flask and put yeast in and now I can't get the stir bar to stay center. Has anyone ever had this issue? Also does anyone have...
Alright I found my sulfate level is 35 so I can figure out how much to add by myself I believe. Thanks for the help. Does anyone else have any comments on the recipe?
Ok this is the first recipe that I have ever made from scratch. I want advice of others to see if they think it will be any good. I want a beer that is bitter with some alcohol behind it. Also I have heard that Maris Otter makes some really good beers.
Thanks

The inside of the lid goes down about an inch into the keezer. That is what is hitting my keg. I didn't know u could take that off. Any suggestions on how to take it off

I have all ball locks unfortunately. I was thinking of putting some kind seal on the wood like what's on the fridge door to maybe give it a little more space.
Ok I made the collar for my keezer and the Kegs fit in the freezer fine, but when I put the disconnects on the lid sits up about 1/2" above the edge. The third keg is sitting on the shelf in the freezer and I really wanted my keezer to hold 3 kegs. I am trying to figure out how to fix this...
Ya I have seen that thread and it is helpful. I think I will go ahead and buy the 10 gallon but I have an old cooler that's 48quarts. I am just wondering which I better. I feel like the water cooler will b more heat efficient and easier to store.
