Yes, I can't argue against this being a lower priced alternative. I've never done BIAB myself, so I can't give a good opinion about it. I think you've inspired me to try it! It would certainly make this guide considerably more budget worthy. And I think BIAB is perfect for a 3 gallon batch...
Thanks! I've done 2.5 gallon batches in 5 gallon buckets as well, it works great especially if you're doing a high gravity batch. You would just collect about 3.25 gallons of wort and boil down to 2.5 gallons, and everything else would stay the same.
