AG or Extract? My Caribou Slobber extract kit finishes at 1.019 and was fantastic, one of best beers I have had and it was my first HB. I believe the extract kit will be higher from AG from what I have researched.

Its not really homebrewing that is the issue. Its having an open flame in a garage. Condo rules are usually pretty strict about this as all the units are connected. A fire in one unit risk a fire in all of them. Its one of those sucky things about condo/commune living. My closest neighbor is 4.5...

Why would a growler be any less cable of carbonating a beer than a Sam Adams bottle? If one shakes up a carbonated beer, the pressures is going to be just as high in the bottle as carbonating. Just asking.
