Thanks for the info just picked up 6 6.5 gal nitric acid carboys for $15 per off craigslist. one question, what is an example of an ammonia+surfectant solution? Just the normall cleaning ammonia from the grocery store?? If so how much water are you mixxing in? Thanks again :mug:

I add gelatin to most of my beers in the secondary, i guess thats the reason i still do it And yea waiting an extra week would probably be a good move.

So, I have a dark brownstain in my airlock. the beer smells a little bit off as well, was wondering if this is a sign of infection.
