Ok, yeah im close to 3 weeks fermentation now, thanks guys!

I normally only do primary fermentation and have brewed a vanilla cream ale and wanted to ask if anyone has added the vanilla beans to primary? I see where a lot of people talking about adding to secondary, thanks for anyone's opinion!

I use all grain for my homebrews. When the instructions suggest 1 to 2 weeks primary then 1 to 2 weeks secondary what is the difference? I guess what i am asking is does it mean you can ferment in primary in one week and then secondary a week then bottle! What is the difference if you ferment...

What is the reason the wort needs to be cooled so fast, and if you do it later what are the differences? Just for curiosity!
