I've always used hot water in brewing...takes lest time to heat up my strike water and what not. just try it, see what happens...I haven't noticed a difference, but you might.

3) I keg. So I don't bottle. But when I did, I left my beer in the bottle until I had finished it? Not quite sure what you mean by this question...are you talking about carb time? or just how long you leave it in the bottle?
So I was giving a turkey fryer to use for brewing :rockin:. However the part that connects to the propane tank doesn't match the tank. I'm thinking this is an older turkey fryer, with the old style connector (but I could be totally wrong). The turkey fryer itself doesnt have any brand markings...
