Right now I have my temp controller set for heating cut in mode. I need cooling cut out mode. Anyone have any links where I can look this up? Thanks in advance.
Is all grain recipes suppose to include dry malt extracts? I thought all grain meant no extract either dry or liquid, but I keep seeing DME in all grain recipes.
White labs 320 American hefe and wyeast 1010 American wheat....Jo just thought it would have told me to choose one or the other, it had both in the recipe. The air lock is bunking pretty good right now
1.) I forgot to smack my yeast pack and poured the contents in separately
2.) the recipe had 2 types of yeast, I thought I was suppose to add both, which I did, but later was told I was only to pick one of the two (friend)
I'm brewing an American wheat and it has 2 types of yeast in the recipe. White labs 320 American Hefeweizen and wyeast 1010 American wheat. Do I use both or choose one of the two?
I just purchased some star San and I noticed it is a 5gallon preparation. Can I prepare 5 gallons of the solution fill up a spray bottle then store the rest away in my garage for later usage? How long will it keep before it is unusable?
