I've never experienced an issue with residual flavors after having cider on tap.

I finally stained the trellis this week. All that's left is to screw the top slats in. My one chinook plant continues to thrive and one of the Willamette's is starting to catch up. The magnum and centennial seem to be growing more bushy than tall.

Consistency makes consistent beer. Unless you find a flawless recipe and need to hit the gravity dead on for the perfect beer, a consistent crush does not make the beer better. Of course you need to remain within reason but I don't think someone who uses the lhbs mill is seeing 20% swings in...

You can use any hop you want you just need to change your method. Have you tried first wort hopping and/or eliminating the 60min addition in favor of late additions?

You don't tip in europe or you don't tip anywhere? It's fine if you don't understand the culture but taking it out on your waitress is not cool. I don't tip for takeout but I would if it seemed warranted.
