This was my first attempt brewing a Saison. And you are right on, there is gunky stuff mixed with the blobs. I will keep it fermenting for at least 20 days or until the yeast has done its job. Thanks for the info.

I glad to know the protein blobs are a good thing. The sight of seeing this stuff after brewing was a bit shocking. And as you can tell I'm new to brewing. thanks again
