    quitting

Exactly what I was going to say. I gave up drinking/brewing until I lost some weight. Smoking meats was a great replacement. Growing hydroponic vegetables is another one you might enjoy.

Lagunitas - Same Flavor Throughout Styles?

I brewed the IPA clone from CYBI but couldn't find any place around here that sells lagunitas to compare it with. Anybody know where to find some in AL?

    Others "trying" your homebrew

I think my favorite experience was when I let my girlfriend's father try one of my homebrews for the first time. I put the bottle on the counter and went to look for an opener. When I came back, he'd already opened it and was pouring it in his used ice tea glass- still had some ice cubes and...

    Hello from Eastern Alabama

Welcome aboard. I miss Auburn; moved away about a year ago. You probably already know this, but there's a nice brew club there (http://www.auburnbrewclub.org/) I wish I'd known about it before I moved.

    Hello from Dixie!

You're lucky to have a LHBS near you in BHM. I'm near Montgomery, and I don't think there's one within 100 miles. I'm guessing you've heard of sulawesi coffee. I use sulawesi on the svrider forum, but my post count is about as low on that one as it here.
