What do you do with your used/spent yeast?

I hate to waste anything and I like brewing my own because I think it's an environmentally friendly way of consuming alcohol, tasty too I always feel guilty tipping my yeast friends down the drain, I'm hoping they will find some nice stuff to feast on down there. Do you think they would survive...

    Funky bubbly bubbles ?

Ive brewed a few beers, probably around 10, my last brew is definitely the best tasting, it fermented at a rather high temperature so i was concerned about the results. I'm sampling a couple of bottles and i've noticed really big bubbles in the bottle after ive poured my pint ? Any opinions?

My temperature control system didn't work

Not so sure on the yeast, I'm no expert but from what I have read online it's a repackaged Nottingham strain.

My temperature control system didn't work

I'm thinking that too, after all the threads I've read about temperature and fusel alcohol I started to worry. This is my Christmas brew with filtered water and sparkles added. I'd be upset if it's wrong. I might brew a back up

My temperature control system didn't work

Help, it's currently 14c in my house at the moment so I set up a portable heater to help my yeastie friends. Unfortunately overnight this got my fermenter up to 34c, I know, omg. It must of been that temp for 12 hours 6 hours after pitching! I can't be sure. Is this batch a write off or will...

Prepering to bottle my forth batch and this time I will be able to start another brew straight away :) Hopefully I aim to always have some bottled and another brew in the fermenter all the time (waiting is not one of my strong points) I may move to having a secondary bin to keep the pipeline...

    Lost beer...lost cause?

I think you will be fine, from what I can tell from your post, only a small amount of air would of contacted the beer in comparason to what had gone through the tube already. Dont take my word as advice, Im a noob and feel your pain :mug:

Cracked open my first bottle of my second batch :mug: It's lots clearer and easier to drink but still a bit (fruity) or (tart) Its only three weeks since I started so it has probably not matured yet. Going to start my third brew tomorrow, I'm going to be an expert soon :cross: Happy brewing!
