    Old Speckled Hen.

Revvy, For work, i'm literally across the boarder in canada at the blue water bridge at the holiday inn, sarnia. There is one nice thing about canada, at their LCBO's they sell specialty beers per the can or bottle, of course a little pricey. I have gotten back across the boarder and been...

Looking for a cheaper price on bulk DME

On the phone I had it confirmed $98 for a 50 lb bag of briess DME when I asked... I called north country malt (the 518 number). Thanks for the grain storing info that's good to hear! :rockin:

Looking for a cheaper price on bulk DME

yea actually I was just on the phone with them earlier, they only sell briess DME. FYI they also sell the specialty grains on the catalog in as little as 1 lb bags, and crushed too if you're like me and don't have a grain mill. Anybody ever use crushed grains after being stored for a while...

    Old Speckled Hen.

Ah right, thanks! If I could trouble you once more on beer trivia, this one's regarding Guiness in Europe. One of the drafts of Guiness over there taste infinitely better than any I've had in the states. It was deliciously smooth with vanilla tones, and I haven't been able to put my finger...

    Old Speckled Hen.

Orfy I've gotta tell you, although as you can see I'm a noob to posting, like the rest I'm constantly seeking beer knowledge and tripped across this thread. Having gotten the chance while in England to try OSH drawn from a keg in Chester, specifically at the "Frog & Nightingale", I can...
