Thanks for the reply. Would like to make a pale ale with orange taste and smell. When would you add the zest and how much? Also what hops/malt and grains would be best to use for this type of beer.
With Summer almost here i want to brew a nice orange citrus beer. Live in florida so want to make a thurst quencher. Im an extract brewer and want to know a good orange based recipe, interested in using real orange peels. Also would tangerine be good to add?
Have a pale ale fermenting now and want to dry hop in my secondary. Just wanting to know any suggestions on what hops would make a good combo. The hops i used during the boil were summit(bittering) perle (Flavoring) Cascade(Aroma). I know i should use cascade but want to use variety of hops.
I like hoppy beers like IPA's but not so much the bitterness so pale ales are my favorite to brew. I brewed Liberty pale ale out of the How to Brew book and was pretty damn good but want more hop flavor and aroma. I would like to know any good ale recipes that are full of hop flavor and aroma...
