An update on my first beers life cycle.
Has now after thirteen days been moved to secondary. I racked it to add cocoa nibs soaked in vodka. Hopefully it turns out well. I'm guessing the added cocoa gave the yeast enough sugar to start up fermentation?
I can't get my hands on cocoa nips right now and I need to move my Bock to secondary fermenter. I have chocolate spices but it is grounded very finely. Could I add some of this into my secondary fermenter to get the same desired affects?
Maybe mix it with vodka?
