    Allergies, sinuses and beer

Doesn't really affect me. I have horrible allergies, but beer doesn't make them any worse. My dad on the other hand, pretty much doesn't drink beer for the whole of allergy season for the reasons you mentioned.

Favorite bittering & aroma hop combo?

What is your "go to" hop variety?

My go to hop is Challenger. I brew a lot of English beers and the hop is great for bittering, flavor, or aroma.

Suggest a Brew for My Wife

    Rain water barrel

My parents just pick up 2 rain water barrels for their home. I think the barrels used to store pickles or some other pickled/brined food.

You can only drink one beer for the rest of your life

Third vote for Fullers ESB. Simply an amazing beer.

    Sigh...

Nope. I always anticipate the next beer rather than be sad about the last.

Longest it has taken to carbonate?

Longest it took a beer to carbonate so far has been my Roggenbock which took a couple of months. Basically my advice is just keep brewing and forget about them for a bit. When you come back they should be carbed.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Early Sunday morning brewday for me. Starting up an English Summer Ale and hoping to have it in the carboy by the time the Blackhawks game starts.
