    Siphoning

That's an auto siphon. Just put the black end in the beer and the tube into what ever you are racking to and pump until you get flow.

    About to start kegging

Ball locks will have a relief valve on the lid whereas pinlocks, many times, do not. I just started kegging as well and I use pinlocks because I find them to be a little cheaper. I have no experience using balllocks but I find pinlocks to be adequate for dispensing and secondary. If I need to...

    First kegged homebrew

I just kegged my first homebrew. An autumn ale that was 1 month in primary (no secondary) and I keg hopped with Simcoe pellets. I chilled in the kegerator for three days at 38° and then hit it with 30 lbs. for about 30 hours. First pour was perfect and the beer tasted awesome! Now working on...

Fermenting temp: Fermentation chamber temp or sticket therm on carboy?

    Dry hopping in the keg?

So I can go ahead and force carb now in the kegerator and I will still get good hop flavor? I am also kind of worried about hop particles since I used pellets. Sorry, this is my first keg.

    Keg Hopping

I just dry hopped a keg with a paint strainer bag and purged it with CO2. Can I leave that at room temp (78 degrees or so) for 4 days and then remove the hop bag and force carb? I am worried about the beer absorbing the CO2 and I loose the head space to Oxygen.

    Danby Dual Faucet Kegarator

I just bought a Kegco K199B-2 Dual Faucet kegerator and I love it. Gets real cold and pours great. If you are buying it from Beverage Factory the Kegco is a few bucks cheaper.

    Flat is just not beer......

Is there any sediment in the bottles?

    Maybe I am paranoid

I have read alot bout infections and have seen many pictures. But with most of my fermentations I have seen Krausens that looked pillowy but never bubbly like this. Do I have an issue? I have seen othe pics on here where large bubbles form after the krausen falls but never before.

    Anyone have Kegco K209B-2?

I just purchased the Kegco K199B-2 dual tap kegerator and it really works well. I only have one keg on it right now (Big Eye IPA) set to 10 lbs and it pours great. I was worried that I would have to lengthen the serving lines but right now it seems to be working as advertised. I will be...

    SA-05 pitching temp

I just made a IIPA with a OG of 1.079:tank: and I used a new ice bath pump system to cool it to 59*. Is that too cold to pitch 2 packs of SA-05?

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewing a IIPA with Columbus and Zythos.

    What are you drinking now?

I just assembled my new kegerator and I don't have anything ready to keg yet so installed a commercial coupler and just tapped Ballast Point Big Eye IPA. It pours great!
