low profile sankey to ball locks

Excellent! So pretend I'm a 5 year old. Could you link me to the parts I'm missing? :) I'm a pretty good brewer but as soon as it comes to threads and such I'm lost. About 10 years ago when I got all my kegging stuff setup I knew it all, but a lot of time (and beer) has come since then...

low profile sankey to ball locks

I've got those parts coming, I guess the tricky part is the threads on the low profile coupler. I don't know how I can tell what the threads are. My last resort is there is a plumbing store about 40 minutes from me, you know the kind, a few old guys, and parts are in mason jars with...

low profile sankey to ball locks

Hey guys! I'm trying to get a solution together to use a sankey keg with my ball lock corny setup. I've been reading and looking at posts here (and everywhere!) and have found some parts lists, but most are so old that the links don't work. So as of right now I have some parts but can't...

    Best digital thermometer

Just an update 8 years later. Dropped on of them right into the mash while stirring this week. Tried to grab with bares hands OUCH. Put a rubber glove on fast, grabbed it. Still working! These things are great.

I'm glad you are changing out the wires, they look unhappy. I would guess the heater is fine and the problem is really just the wires (and maybe that thermostat which you should switch) and just fully replace them (run them all the way back). I didn't get a fan, didn't think of it at the time...

It is almost 100% the wires. Once you get to the page with the 'remove insulation' you'll be able to see if they look all burned up. If so, there are some pro tips here on what to buy and how to replace: http://www.brewieforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7

http://www.brewieforum.net A guy from homebrewtalk put this up to help organize for exactly this kind of question. Lots of diagrams and instructions. This thread we are on probably has what you are looking for too, it is just very big :) Also, this google drive has loads of stuff...

I was all ready to do it but with the company being a little up in the air right now I'm not sure how much more I want to invest.. just yet :) Hopefully my Brewie has all its kinks worked out. Thanks for the feedback on the cage though, I'll probably just end up getting one :)

Yep!! I would like to a complete list of stuff links etc that we can all use. I can host a website and jam it all on there if we need that too. https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/1NT01L-7950/1862-1073-ND/8558221 It is Digi-Key Part Number: 1862-1073-ND Manufacturer Part Number...

This is the same problem I had. Took about 6 weeks for the parts to show up, I did order a new thermostat from digi-key instead as the replacement one they sent had a similar problem (never reaching a full boil). But now it is all good to go. I really wish they just had their parts all...
