Thanks for the link I just figured out that my cooler is 12 gallons which should give me just enough space to do a 10 gallon batch if I wanted to brew that much.

I am just starting to get together equipment to start all grain brewing. I normally make 5 gallon batches. I am currently building a mash tung out of a cooler that I have and was wondering how big my cooler needs to be if I ever wanted to attempt a 10 gallon batch. Thank you for the help

I was thinking about keeping the wodden bung but am concerned about sanitation but I guess the boiling would sanitize or would I have to replace it after each use? I tried to pull it out by hand and I'm going to need tools. by the way what does BK stand for?
