Southern Tier Creme Brule stout Clone

No, didn't try the original but I should have. This is one of those recipes that made me stop trying clones before I have tried the original. Just not my thing although it made great ice cream!

Why do some people get stressed when brewing?

I think the first book a new home brewer should read is "the joy of home brewing", Charie does a great job emphasizing the need to relax and have fun. I don't know how many times I have repeated the mantra, "don't worry, have a home brew"! Sent from my DROID4 using Home Brew mobile app

Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Clone Attempt

I'm wanting to make a 10 gallon batch of this but my mash tun is not large enough for all the grain and strike water. Anyone successfully modified this recipe to substitute some grain for extract?

The plan is to primarily brew in the garage but I may add a wind screen later if I need it.

    banjo burner installation

I am working on my home brew stand and picked up a couple 10" banjo burners. I am getting ready to mount them and I am wondering what height I should mount them at. Can anyone tell me what the ideal height is from the bottom of the kettle to the top of the burner?
